Only Esade has two international management masters courses in the Financial Times Top 20
The Financial Times has recognised the Global 3 - Master in Global Strategic Management programme, which Esade offers in partnership with the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (USA) and Lingnan (University) College, Sun Yat-sen University (China), as the best in Spain – and #11 in the world in international business management. One of the key factors was the high degree of employability of its students
Monday, 13 September 2021. Esade is the only business school in the world with two of its Msc in International Management programmes in the Top 20 of the latest Financial Times ranking for this category. The Global 3 - Master in Global Strategic Management programme, which Esade offers together with McIntire School of Commerce, in the United States, and Lingnan (University) College, Sun Yat-sen University in China, is ranked the best in Spain and #11 in the world, and the Esade Master of Science in International Management (MIM) is ranked #16 in the world.
As Josep Franch, Dean of Esade Business School, explains: "This ranking reflects the high employability of our students, 95% of whom find jobs within three months of graduation. Proof of this success is the recognition given by the Financial Times to our Global 3 - Master in Global Strategic Management, as the best in the world in this section.
Franch added: “All Esade students are in close and continuous collaboration with the business world through their academic studies, where executives from relevant international organisations teach and lead real cases and innovation-based challenges, and thanks to the crucial role played by Esade Careers during and after their time in the classroom. Our team of career specialists give our students personalised tutoring and offer a wide range of international employment workshops and sector recruitment fairs, as well as other personalised services”. Esade's careers service is recognised as #15 in the world.
Unique educational experience and international recognition
As well as career development, the Financial Times MSc in International Management ranking evaluates other key aspects of programmes and the business schools where they are taught, such as faculty excellence, classroom diversity, international exposure and training, and student satisfaction. In this last section, Esade students rated the Master of Science in International Management (MIM) with 9.4 out of 10, and the Global 3 - Master in Global Strategic Management, with 9.3. These student satisfaction scores are among the best in the world, and in the top ten in Europe.
Franch added that: "this high level of student satisfaction is due to Esade's unique educational experience, which is based on a teaching methodology that combines learning communities, personalised monitoring, interactions with lecturers, synchronous and asynchronous dynamics, and a high level of technological and teaching quality. Thanks to this model, our students develop key knowledge and skills to lead in a digital and globalised world that demands profiles with new cross-disciplinary skills oriented towards sustainable development”.
The ranking obtained by Esade's MSc in International Management in the Financial Times ranking is further recognition for Esade's Master of Science (MSc) degrees, which were chosen this September as the best in the world according to QS, publisher of the TopMBA and TopUniversities portals: MSc in Marketing Management, (#6); MSc in Business Analytics (#9), and MSc in Finanzas (#14). In addition to these degrees, and within the same category, is the recently created MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which reflects Esade’s commitment to training entrepreneurs to lead the new sectors and industries derived from the knowledge economy.
