7 degrees of URL, among the best in the State according to the ranking of El Mundo

Ramon Llull University has positioned one more degree in the Top 5 with respect to the previous edition
 

Wednesday, 8 May 2019. Ramon Llull University (URL) places 7 of its bachelor’s degrees in the Top 5 of the Spanish universities, according to the ranking "50 bachelors" published today by El Mundo. With these results, the URL is positioned one more year as the second private university in Spain.

This classification, which reaches its 19th edition, collects the 50 bachelor’s degrees most demanded by students and ranks the top 5 universities to study them at. In this edition, 7 of the bachelor’s degrees offered by the URL appear among the top 5 positions:

• Social Education (FESTS Pere Tarrés-URL): 1st position
• Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing (Blanquerna-URL): 2nd position
• Business Administration-BBA (ESADE-URL): 2nd position
• Social Work (FESTS Pere Tarrés-URL): 3rd position
• Law (ESADE-URL): 4th position
• Chemistry (IQS-URL): 5th position
• Tourism and Hospitality Management (HTSI-URL): 5th position

With the results obtained this year, the URL improves its classification with respect to the previous edition by classifying one more bachelor’s degree. New this year, the bachelor’s degrees of Chemistry (IQS-URL) and Tourism and Hospitality Management (HTSI-URL) rank in the Top 5.

Likewise, it stands out the 1st position of Social Education of Pere Tarrés Faculty of Social Education and Social Work-URL, which for the sixth consecutive year consolidates its bachelor’s degree as the best in the Spain.

The degree in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing, from the Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations-URL, is also in 2nd position. It is the second best in the Spain in its field for the tenth consecutive time.

For its part, the Business-Administration BBA (ESADE-URL) is also consolidated in the second position of the State.

In the 3rd position –maintaining last year's results– the Social Work bachelor’s degree (Pere Tarrés Faculty of Social Education and Social Work-URL) is positioned, and the Law bachelor’s degree (ESADE-URL) maintains the 4th position.

To carry out the ranking, El Mundo takes into account 27 selection criteria divided into three main sections: a questionnaire to find out the opinion of 2,000 professors, the data provided by the university itself, and other indicators of external studies such as the results in international rankings, ANECA reports and the results of reports from Spanish universities, among others.
