The CBDC or Central Bank Digital Currency, or digital currency, which was presented to the public in September 2020 -China went ahead and did it in February that same year-, will be launched during 2021 transforming the entire monetary system and the commercial, fiscal and financial practices of companies.
Greater control of central banks, a totally new model of international transfers, and a globalized currency management system will generate greater controls on companies on a fiscal level, but more possibilities on a financial level.
Dámaso Arias, expert in Cryptocurrency and Digital Currency, will share with us his knowledge and how this new model will require companies to have a greater knowledge of international financing and tax systems and a change of models from leverage models to indirect investment models.
The meeting will be moderated by Josep M. Piqué, Director of Internationalization and Innovation of La Salle-URL and Director of MBA’s for Executive Leaders of La Salle-URL.
