#StayConnectedEsade: "COVID-19: Lessons Learnt from the Chinese Experience"
Online
Covid-19 has impacted the entire world in an unexpected and unprecedented manner. With more than four million people infected globally and a death toll close to 280,000, this pandemic is severely hitting almost every country and industry, and higher education is no exception.
Chinese business schools were among the first to be affected and locked down, and business schools in other parts of the world quickly followed. Around the globe, hundreds of thousands of courses and millions of students had to face countless challenges and transition to an online format, literally overnight.
Now, as we see China slowly returning to normal life, all eyes from other parts of the world are watching to see how Chinese business schools anticipate the future. What lessons can we learn from the Chinese experience? What are the dos and don’ts for fellow deans? What could we have done better? What are the main challenges ahead? Can we expect post-Covid to be similar to the pre-Covid world?
