URL joins the celebration of International Women's Day

ACTIVITIES AT URL CENTRES

In addition, the University's centres have organized different activities to commemorate 8M this year:

• Parlem de menopausa, talks for PTGAS at IQS-URL, March 4 at 12pm and 3pm
• La Coeducació com a Eina Preventiva de les Violències Masclistes: Anàlisi de la Recerca Internacional i les Polítiques d’Igualtat, Seminar of the ICD-Blanquerna Chair for Students, PDI, PTGAS, other professionals. With Sandra Sedano (Universitat de les Illes Balears) and Berta Aznar (FPCEE Blanquerna-URL). Tuesday 3 March at 4.30pm FPCEE in Blanquerna Aula Àgora: C3-06 and in streaming.
• Collection of podcast recommendations with female voices, initiative by FCRI Blanquerna-URL to compile a collection of podcasts directed or conducted by women and listened to by the university community. Proposals can be sent from February 25 to March 3. Open to students, teaching and research staff, other professionals.
• Dones grans, grans dones. Round table within the framework of the Universitat de la Gent Gran. Rosa Rifà, moderadora; Paulina Blanco, Rosa Rifà, moderator; Paulina Blanco, founding patron of Fundació ENLLAÇ; Sònia Núñez, volunteer of the coordination team of Centre Caliu; María Luisa Cerezo, partner VIP Xarxa Vermut. • Esade-Forté International Women’s Day. An evening of dialogue, debate, connection and networking cocktail space with live music, to celebrate International Women's Day with Esade-URL and Forté Foundation. Tuesday, March 10 at the Esade-URL Law School.
• Per què seguim reivindicant el 8M? Special session of the subject Structure and Inequalities, of the Social Work and Social Education degrees of the Facultat d’Educació Social i Treball Social Pere Tarrés-URL.
• La mujer es cosa de Hombres, reflection and analysis session at ESDI-URL on the media representation of women in dialogue with feminist theoretical reflection, based on the documentary “La mujer, cosa de hombres”, episode of the series “50 años de...”, produced by RTVE and directed by Isabel Coixet; and also with a fragment of an interview with Betty Friedan.
