Carlo Gallucci, URL vice-rector, member of the Board of Trustees of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

Wednesday, 7 January 2026. Carlo Gallucci, Vice-Rector for International and Student Relations at the Ramon Llull University, has joined the Board of Trustees of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy), which has renewed its members for the next four years. It is one of the most important Catholic universities in the world, and is part of SACRU (Strategic Alliance of Catholic Research Universities), a university alliance to which the URL also belongs.

Also joining it for the period 2026-2029: Francesca Bazoli, President of the Fondazione Brescia Musei and of the Morcelliana publishing house; Matteo Giuseppe Cabassi, Managing Director of Brioschi Sviluppo Immobiliare; Carlo Cimbri, President of Unipol Assicurazioni; Sergio Gatti, CEO of Federcasse; Giacomo Renato Ghisani, director of the Secretariat for participation in legal and management affairs of the Diocese of Cremona; Giorgio Gobbi, director of the Milan headquarters of Banca d'Italia; Victor Massiah, president of the Fondazione Accademia Teatro alla Scala; Salvatore Nastasi, president of the Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori of the Fondazione Cinema per Roma; Nando Pagnoncelli, President of Ipsos Italia; and university teachers Monica Amadini, professor of General Pedagogy; Ivana Pais, professor of Economic Sociology; Ketty Peris, professor of Dermatology; the representative of the Holy See, Monsignor Angelo Vincenzo Zani, archivist and librarian emeritus of the Holy Roman Church; the representative of the Italian Catholic Action, Giuseppe Notarstefano, national president of the Italian Catholic Action; and the representative of the Government, Massimo Rubechi, chief of staff of the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research. The composition of this council will be completed with the appointment of a representative of the Italian Episcopal Conference.
