El Economista acclaims Esade-URL as most innovative university in Ibero-America for third year running
Esade was praised for its innovative programs and teaching methods, and its focus on digital change particularly as regards competencies and technology
Friday, February 11, 2022. Esade has been acknowledged for the third year running as the most innovative Ibero-American university by the El Economista ranking. The journal assessed fifty Spanish-speaking institutions on the basis of different categories related to teaching innovation and digital change such as management, range of programs, teaching method, technological capacities, admission process, pricing, and student satisfaction index. This year, like last year, the digital response to coronavirus, one of the categories in which Esade ranked amongst the most outstanding institutions, was also taken into account.
In the words of Marc Correa, director of Esade Executive Education, “Here at Esade we are acutely aware of the giddy pace of developments in digital change and their impact on the future of the job market and so we dedicate a great deal of effort and investment to moving our range of programs in the right direction. There is an increasingly urgent need to acquire, develop and update digital skills in the market, and we can see that companies increasingly demand far more specialized profiles”.
The position in the El Economista ranking is a considerable boost for Esade Executive Education, which recently redefined their range of programs under the slogan ‘Unlimited Better Futures’. This new strategy is based on three cornerstones: highly customized programs according to participants’ needs; the creation of ecosystems with traditional and non-traditional partners.
Executives are responsible for their education
With this new strategy, Esade takes the customization of their executive education another step forward by setting participants at the heart of the process and making them responsible for their own learning process and ensuring that their program is compatible with their professional life. To do so, Esade collaborates with participants on both the design of program content, based on the needs of participants and their companies, and the format, thanks to the flexibility Esade can offer between online and face-to-face formats.
Thanks to this customization and hyper-specialization, Esade programs also provide the reskilling and upskilling that executive education participants increasingly seek in order to bridge the digital skills gap caused by a market in constant digital flux. A boundless evolution that underlines how lifelong learning has become a key factor for professional success.
More programs and strategic alliances
The Esade Executive Education acknowledged by the El Economista 3rd Educational Innovation Ranking consists of a wide range of masters and executive diplomas, open programs, and In·On programs, in both hybrid and 100% on-line formats that combine the best of face-to-face and distance learning, which comprise the largest educational portfolio in the Spanish-speaking market in its category, enabling participants to gain new knowledge and skills in a few weeks. A new addition to all this is the Executive Master in Management (EMiM), a unique program that participants can adapt to suit their needs: after completing a module that offers a 360 view of the main concepts of management and leadership, participants can structure their course according to their needs based on the innovative range of Esade Executive Education programs, choosing from different contents, formats and teaching locations.
“The growing complexity of the job market and the business ecosystem calls for the design of specific programs able to produce real results. This is why Esade Executive Education also evaluates the quality of their programs in four main areas: response, learning, behavior and impact on society”, concluded Marc Correa.
