The URL, among the best universities of the State in teaching, according to U-Ranking

Tuesday, 30 June, 2020. The Ramon Llull University (URL) is ranked in the 1st grup of universities with highest performance of the State in teaching, and improves its results regarding the previous edition. This is set by the teaching indicators of U-Ranking that avaluates the performance of Spanish universities. The URL’s indicators of "success rate", "non abandonment rate", "rate of International students" and "rate of students in International mobility programs", especially stand out as they are well above the average of universities.

This year, the U-Ranking, an initiative of the BBVA Foundation and the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE), has evaluated 70 universities, 48 public and 22 private, based on the analysis of 20 indicators.

Apart from analysing the teaching performance of the universities, the universities are also evaluated and classified according to their research and innovation activity, in which the URL is located in the 10th position (shared) of best universities of Spain.

In the general ranking, which takes into account both the teaching and research and innovation indicators, the URL appears in the group of universities with the 4th best performance, improving 3 positions regarding the previous edition.

Finally, in this edition, U-Ranking has analized the job placement of graduates. In this sense, it has ranked the URL among the first 10  universities of the State, thus clearly above the national average, standing out in the fields of Social and Juridical Sciences and Enginyering and Architecture.
