Founding meeting of the Spanish Conference of Universities with undergraduate degrees in International Relations (CEUTRI)

Wednesday, 16 September 2020. Its objective is to promote cooperation between degrees and give visibility to the discipline and teaching of International Relations in Spain.

In mid-September, the dean of the Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations-URL, Dr. Josep María Carbonell, and the director of the Degree in International Relations, Professor Onno Seroo, participated in the founding meeting of the Spanish Conference of Universities with undergraduate degrees in International Relations (CEUTRI).

This association wants to promote public recognition of the degree, defending an interdisciplinary vision of teaching and encouraging research in this field.

CEUTRI is made up of Comillas Pontifical University, European University of Madrid, University Antonio de NebrijaRamon Llull University, Deusto University, Loyola University de Andalusia and the Autonomous from Madrid. Other universities, such as the Complutense in Madrid, are studying their membership.

The tenured professor of the Department of International Relations of ComillasJosé Manuel Saénz Rotko will hold the presidency of the Board of Directors, while the vice-presidency will go to Misael Arturo López Sapico, from the Autonomous University of Madrid. The Loyola University of Andalusia and the Ramon Llull University will be Secretary (Miguel Arsenio Romero Velasco) and Treasurer (Onno Seroo), respectively. The two remaining members of the association are Adela Alija from Antonio de Nebrija and María Luz Suárez Castiñeira from Deusto.
