Friday, 26 June 2020. On March 13, the IRRIGATION+ project kick off meeting was took place. The project is funded by the European Space Agency with the aim of quantifying irrigation from space. The Ebro Observatory participates by contributing its knowledge in the quantification of irrigation using surface soil moisture data, in the modeling of the continental water cycle and by liaising with users in the irrigated areas of the Ebro basin, which will be one of the pilot areas.
