The URL is among the U-Multirank European top ten for its international dimension

• Psychology at the URL, taught at the Blanquerna-URL Faculty of Psychology, Education Sciences and Sport, comes 2nd in Spain and 7th in Europe

•  Computer Science at the URL, taught at the La Salle-URL University School of Telecommunications Engineering, is among the top five European universities indicator of regional engagement, which assesses work and training placements in companies

Thursday 9 April 2015. The U-Multirank is a ranking promoted by the European Commission and managed in Spain by the CYD Foundation. It analyses the results of 583 European universities, of which 61 are Spanish, by looking at five aspects:

1. The international orientation of universities
2. Teaching and learning
3. Research
4. Knowledge transfer
5. Regional engagement 

The Ramon Llull University (URL) stands out internationally for coming top in the ranking, along with ten other European universities that obtained the highest score in all indicators evaluated by this international dimension.

The URL is therefore not only among the top ten European universities in terms of internationalism positions, but came first among the 61 Spanish universities analysed in this area.






 

Psychology and Computer Science at the URL within the European and Spanish top ten

U-Multirank also analyses specific disciplines each year. This year it focuses on three areas: psychology, computer science and medicine. For the URL, the first two areas were evaluated, since they are the ones actually taught there.

In the area of psychology, the URL (Blanquerna-URL Faculty of Psychology, Education Sciences and Sport) comes second in Spain and the seventh in Europe, taking into account the global indicators.

In the field of Computer Science, the URL (La Salle-URL University School of Telecommunications Engineering) occupies seventh place in Spain.

Regarding regional engagement - an indicator that measures the employment success of bachelors and masters degree-holders as well as work and training placements in companies in this area -, it is worth mentioning that the URL is positioned among the top five in Europe.
