Once again, the URL is the international leader in the CYD ranking

 The Ramon Llull University (URL) stands in first place for internationalisation in the national university ranking drawn up by the Knowledge and Development Foundation (Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo - CYD)

Monday, 8 june 2015. This year the ranking analysed 60 public and private universities using 31 indicators divided into six variables: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation, contribution to regional development and student satisfaction.

In this classification, the URL stands in first place in internationalisation, scoring high performance (the top score) in five of the six indicators and intermediate performance in the other one. Out of these five indicators with the top score, we should particularly point to: "Degrees offered in a foreign language (Bachelor's degree)" and "international Teaching and research staff."

This consolidates the URL's position as the leading university for internationalisation, as shown in the European Commission's recently published U-Multirank (sharing philosophy, methodology and data with the ranking of the CYD Foundation), in which the URL was ranked first in the European top ten with the maximum score for all indicators.

In addition to universities, the CYD 2015 ranking analyses 560 degree courses in seven areas of knowledge. In the 2015 edition, the URL participated in the areas of psychology and computer science, which obtained the highest rating in the dimension of contribution to regional development (in the indicators that evaluate "placements in companies of the region" and "regional publications"). At the same time, both areas achieve the highest score in the "Post-doctoral" and "Theses" indicators in the research field. Meanwhile, the psychology area obtained a high performance in the "Qualification of teaching and research staff" indicator while the computer science area achieved a high score for "Interdisciplinary publications."

Overall, the URL obtained the highest score in 13 indicators out of a total of 31 analysed and ranks as one of the Spanish universities with a greater number of high performance indicators.
