On October 15, Esade is organizing a special event to recognize Professor Uri Simonsohn for his outstanding contribution to upholding ethical standards and safeguarding the integrity of academic research.
Esade's Director General, Daniel Traça, will acknowledge Simonsohn’s crucial role in the investigation that exposed data manipulation in research. Simonsohn, alongside colleagues, co-founded Data Colada, a blog that rigorously examines the integrity of scientific research. Thanks to their work, several instances of data fraud have been uncovered.
His dedication to transparency has encouraged greater scrutiny in academic research and set important precedents in research. In this regard, Professor Simonsohn will discuss his findings and provide more details about a recent case that has shaken the scientific community.
