Webinar «Technologies of the energy transition: power-to-liquids in action»

The fifth webinar of the series “Technologies of the Energy Transition”, organized by the EsadeGeo Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics and the Repsol Foundation, will focus on power-to-liquids (PtL) projects in action. 

By combining green hydrogen – obtained by using renewable electricity to electrolyze water – with CO2, PtL projects can produce carbon neutral fuels for hard-to-abate sectors, such as aviation and heavy transport.

What projects are currently under development and in operation? What is their scalability potential? Which benefits do these projects offer, and what hurdles do they face? What, overall, is the outlook for PtL in the short and mid-term? This webinar will explore all of these questions through a conversation with four companies working in the field.
