Inaugural ceremony of the URL 2025-2026 academic year
Monastery of Santa Maria de Valldonzella (c. Císter, 34. Barcelona) and Cardenal Narcís Jubany Auditorium at the Blanquerna School of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences-URL (c. Císter, 43. Barcelona)
On Friday, October 10, 2025, will take place the inaugural ceremony of the URL 2025-2026 academic year.
At 10 a.m. an Eucharist will be held at the Monastery of Santa Maria de Valldonzella (c. Císter, 34. Barcelona), followed by the academic event at 11.30 a.m. in the Cardenal Narcís Jubany Auditorium at the Blanquerna School of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences-URL (c. Císter, 43. Barcelona).
This year, the inaugural lecture will take the form of a dialogue entitled «Benestar emocional a la Universitat» with the participation of representatives from the three groups within the university community: teaching and research staff (Sergi Corbella and Núria Farriols), students (Paula Valls) and technical, management, administrative and service staff (Maica Linares).
During the ceremony, the Gold Medal of the University will be awarded to Antoni Millet, president of the Board of Trustees of the URL Fundació (2020-2024).
