On Tuesday 6th October 2020 the opening ceremony of the academic year 2020-2021 of the Ramon Llull University will take place.

At 10.30 a.m. the Eucharist will be celebrated in the Monastery of Santa Maria de Pedralbes (Baixada del Monestir, 9. Barcelona) and the academic act will take place at 12.00 p.m. in Esade Forum (Av. Pedralbes, 60-62. Barcelona).

During the academic ceremony, Dr. Francesc Torralba, philosopher and professor at the URL, professor at Blanquerna-URL and at the Faculty of Philosophy-URL and director ETHOS-URL Chair, will give the inaugural lecture "Pensar la densitat del present. La Covid-19 i els eriçons de Schopenhauer". Likewise, the Extraordinary Awards of the URL for the 2019-2020 academic year will be delivered.
