The Faculty of Philosophy provides Bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and humanities in order to spread knowledge in the classic fields of these disciplines and promote the capacity to form judgements in philosophical and humanistic matters of the past and the present. The teaching system favours a personalised relationship between the teacher and the student, work in small groups, and the integration of job placements.

The Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy provides training in the main currents of philosophical thought throughout history, structured around commenting on the main authors and the dialogue between the different philosophical traditions. The Bachelor’s degree in humanities provides an overall interdisciplinary humanist training (history, art, literature and thought) and especially fosters the study of the history of culture and artistic heritage, providing professional opportunities in terms of cultural management and tourism.
