The Sarrià Chemistry Institute (IQS) is a long-standing centre with traditional links to the corporate world and industry. The IQS offers its students the possibility to acquire an in-depth training with broad curricula that lay the emphasis on working closely with the teachers in a spirit of solidarity and service and in a knowledge of the new technologies.
This course fosters research and creativity, with access to individual places in laboratories and workshops. These values are integrated into its teaching methods thanks to its particular way of understanding what teaching means. It also helps students seamlessly to join the world of work in a wide range of fields of industries and companies in the following sectors: chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, capital resources, cars, transport, petrochemicals, the environment, and so on.
