The Blanquerna Foundation provides its own consolidated style of teaching through the following approaches: the professional dimension, the personal training dimension and its international projection. The structure, organisation and dynamics of each centre is inspired by a Christian humanist education and tailored to offering a social and cultural service firmly rooted in a country and in a constantly changing world.
The main characteristics of the communication studies are their strong links to the world of work and the way learning is organised into teaching blocks: master classes, self-study laboratories, studies abroad and classroom-seminars (a typical element of the Faculty, in which initiative is encouraged and the practical and professional aspects of the curriculum are developed). This centre has designed an academic project in which computer and audiovisual technology fit in smoothly with the academic needs of communication studies. In the third year, studies go hand in hand with placements, through agreements struck with more than 300 communication companies. The job placement service offers services such as job-seeking, advice, and manages the offers made by companies.
